Certification Pathways
International Experience Route (Fastest)
Foreign electrical experience → Credential assessment → Course preparation → Challenge exam directly → Red Seal certification. Ideal for immigrants with overseas experience — bypasses the lengthy apprenticeship.
Traditional Apprenticeship
Pre-apprenticeship education → 9,000 hours apprenticeship (~4-5 years) → Provincial exam → Red Seal endorsement. Each stage requires coursework and exams.
College Diploma Route
